Ms. Kelsey first added oil to the bottle with some food colouring.

Then she added the water.

 During our science block today we learned that oil and water do not mix!  To make it a little bit more exciting Ms. Kelsey added some sparkles and some food colouring!

Then a little bit more oil!

What do you think happened?

We made sure that the cap was on super tight!

Everyone got a chance to shake it to see the oil and water separate!

Emilia found that she could make waves in the bottles if she tilted it!
