At circle today we discussed what was happening with our flowers...

Then the fun part!  We got up close and worked on our observation books!

Parent's Night Out this Friday!

Enjoy a date night this Friday and bring the children to Tiny Hoppers!  Our evening begins at 5:30pm with some play time followed by some games and a craft! Spaces fill up quickly, so register now!  Only $15 per child for members!

Our flowers are sprouting!

Our flowers in the soil have sprouted!  We have learned that the seeds need not only light and water to grow but they also need the nutrients from the soil!  Keep a look out for these plants around our classroom, we will be using them to decorate!

When we came into Tiny Hoppers today we noticed that our flowers had started to sprout on the soil side!  Check back tomorrow to see if there has been any more changes!

Which will sprout first?

Early last week we began a science experiment to see how plants grow.  We began some seeds in soil, and some seeds in sponges.  The children guessed which ones that we thought would grow faster and why.  Here is a snap shot of the beginning stages of this experiment!  Check back often to see what has been happening or take a quick peak in our classroom when you pick up your child!

Cosmic Adventure Field Trip!

On Thursday, March 14th we will be going to Cosmic Adventure!  Please return your child's permission form and fee of $10 by Wednesday, March 13th.  Just a reminder that all children must be wearing socks, or a $2 fee will be charged by Cosmic Adventures!  If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact us!

Just a reminder that there will be no Nursery School the week of March 11th due to March Break.  We look forward to seeing all of our Tiny Hoppers Nursery School students the following Monday!
